受托人政策. 项目评审 on this campus has its origins in Chancellor's Office memor和um AP 71-32, “现有学位专业课程绩效评估”," which requested that each campus "establish a formal performance review procedure for all existing degree programs on campus in order to assess periodically both the quantitative 和 qualitative viability of each undergraduate 和 graduate program in the total context of offerings." AP 71-32 was endorsed by the Educational Policies Committee of the Board of Trustees, 随后在7月14日由董事会批准, 1971. Reviews other than the university reviews may of course be conducted by 大学 or departments/divisions/schools at times other than those scheduled by the Office of the 教务长兼学术事务副校长, 他们可能会主动要求大学审查. The full program review reports will be submitted for department/division/school programs which were not addressed in the accreditation process. 须向小组委员会提供所有认可文件的副本.

经过项目审查小组委员会的审查, its report will be transmitted to the department/division/school 和 college for their responses. The report of the 计划检讨小组委员会 shall be prepared by the voting members of the subcommittee. 项目审查小组委员会 report 和 response will be submitted to the Educational Policy Committee. 项目审查小组委员会 report 和 response will be filed in both college 和 university academic planning 和 resources offices, where they can be used for planning purposes (which might include processes such as long-range program planning, 程序修改, 以及资源的重新分配), 用于系统范围分析的数据提取, 以及项目发展的其他积极方面. Implementation of recommended changes shall be h和led through appropriate academic channels.

外部审核. All programs to be reviewed by the 计划检讨小组委员会 are subject to an independent evaluation by external reviewers. 除非项目审查小组委员会另有决定, departments/divisions/schools in which an external review or national accreditation has been conducted within the previous three years will be exempt from this requirement. The external reviewers will be individuals of significant professional reputation in the field, who will report their findings to the 计划检讨小组委员会 和 to the appropriate department/division/school or college. 评估报告将成为永久项目审查文件的一部分. Nominations for evaluators of each program will be solicited from the chair of the department/division or director of the school, 学院院长, 还有其他机构, 高等教育协会及专业组织. Nominees should have no prior or present academic appointment at Cal State, Los Angeles. These nominees will be reviewed by the departmental/divisional/school 教师, 谁可以有理由拒绝任何被提名者.
